Exhibition FEJEŠ / PETERCOL

On November 3 2004, on the occasion of the centenary of the birth of Emerik Feješ (1904-1969), the CMNA will open the exhibition Feješ – Petercol. Alongside paintings of a classic of the world Naive and one of the major resources of our Museum, the exhibition will include the contemporary avant-garde artist Goran Petercol and a video installation. The combination of the Naive and contemporary art will enable a dialogue of these two sections of modern art in Croatia, and at the same time a new view and new interpretation of Feješ’s work. The author of the exhibition and the texts in the catalogue will be Svjetlana Sumpor, CMNA curator.
